Responsible Gaming

Help

Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. Those links sit alongside the operator listings and in the footer that repeats across the site.

These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.

Limits

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check its status or enforce it.

Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination a reader is sent to. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing, but repeating a restriction is not the same as checking it.

No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is aimed at a reader who has shown signs of risky play. Each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.

Practice

Decide the amount before starting and treat it as already spent. Deciding in advance takes the choice away from the moment when a run of losses or a near-win makes a bigger figure feel reasonable.

Never chase a loss. A loss is the cost of the entertainment already had; trying to win it back usually means risking more to recover less, since the odds have not changed in the reader's favour.

Keep gambling out of borrowed money and out of money earmarked for bills. Spending only what was already set aside keeps a bad night contained to that amount, instead of turning it into a debt problem.

Take breaks during a session, not just after one. A pause breaks the rhythm of continuous play, which is when time and spending are easiest to lose track of.

Involve someone else early, while gambling is still entertainment rather than a source of stress. A person outside the situation can see patterns that are hard to notice from inside it, and raising the subject early keeps the conversation calmer.

After

What happens with money starts only after a reader leaves this site. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point on the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. Any deposit limit, loss limit, reality check, cooling-off period or self-exclusion a reader wants is something to set up inside the account at that destination, not on this page.
